📜 Independence Day & The Constitution
India became independent on 15 August 1947. On 26 January 1950, India adopted the Constitution — the special book of rules for the country. That is why we celebrate 26 January as Republic Day every year.

🦁 Symbols that Speak
The National Emblem of India shows three lions standing on a circular platform, representing strength, courage and confidence. Below the lions is the Ashoka Chakra. Our national symbols remind us of who we are and what makes us proud to be citizens of India.
